My Favorite Things

With the Christmas season approaching I thought I would share a few of my favorite things with you.  Maybe you can get a  gift idea for someone special in your family or maybe a special friend.

1.  This book “The Inspired Room”  is my newest obsession.  I go to Melissa’s Blog many times when I need ideas for switching things up at my house. Often I can get an idea and use things that I already have in my home.  This book would be a great gift for someone who loves to decorate their home or who is moving to a new home and has a tight decorating budget. Melissa’s blog “The Inspired Home” was voted Readers’ Favorite Top Decorating Blog in 2015 and 2014 by Better Homes & Gardens magazine. You can get it on Amazon.com or in your favorite bookstore. It sells for around $19.00.

2.  If you don’t have your own tool box then I suggest one like this. James bought this one for me a few months ago.  I needed one of my very own and I needed my own tools. Tools that I know where they are so I don’t have to “ask” to borrow them or say “where is” whatever I need. His tool box is so heavy that I can’t even lift it.  I guess I complained enough that one day he came in with this one for me. It’s perfect. I can use it as a step stool as well. It was perfect height for hanging these pictures. Girls you NEED one of these. He bought it at Lowe’s  and you can click here and get all the details. (and yes, he calls me Lovey.)

3.  If you have a family member or friend who is gluten intolerant or has a gluten allergy you might want to try this flour for your holiday baking.  I’ve had really good results with it. You can buy this at Trader Joe’s and it sells for around $3.99 a bag.

These are just a few of my favorite things.  What are some of yours?

Enjoy your weekend.
