31 Days-Resting in Him-Day 27

Today was a real treat. I went to the hospital to have lunch with a dear friend who goes there daily for treatments.  We were able to catch up and just sit and share some time together.  This dear lady is very special to me.When I see her my soul just begins to settle down. She is very mothering in nature and has a very peaceful presence about her.  I always want to be a blessing to her but I always come away feeling like I’ve been the one to receive the blessing. That’s the kind of person she is. I noticed as we sat there in the cafeteria today that all of the employees that came by called her by name and said hello.  I’m guessing that I’m not the only one that she has had this effect on.  I only hope that I can be as much a blessing to someone as my friend is. That people will be as glad to see me as they are to see her. That I can put a smile on others faces. That people will look at me and see Jesus.  That’s what I see when I see her, Jesus. Do they see Jesus in me?
